This wireless charger is made specially for the Tesla Model 3

Tesla certainly has big ambitions for its sleek all-electric vehicles, though these plans don't (yet) include wireless chargers.

But, come April, a group of engineers say they will launch a wireless charging pad that fits seamlessly into the Tesla Model 3, the electric vehicle company's first mass-market offering — and the vehicle the company's future is balanced upon.

Tesla Wireless Pad is marketing their $99 product as something Tesla's chief designer, Franz von Holzhausen, "forgot" to include below the Model 3's touch screen.    Read more...

YouTube TV is now available on Roku

YouTube TV streaming service is now available on select Roku devices, Roku announced Thursday. 

YouTube TV lets users stream live television from nearly 50 networks for $35 per month. This includes ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, CW, Disney Channel, ESPN, FX and Telemundo, among others. Some premium and sports networks such as Showtime and Fox Soccer Plus can be had for an additional monthly fee.

Too late, Elon Musk's flamethrowers have sold out

2018's hottest new toy has sold out.

Elon Musk's Boring Company $500 flamethrower has certainly been the talk of the internet, but if you were umming and ahhing over whether you should get one, you're too late.

Musk confirmed via Twitter on Wednesday evening that he has sold all 20,000 flamethrowers available for preorder, only four days after they went on sale. That's $10 million in flamethrowers.

Facebook promoted lies and conspiracy theories following Amtrak crash

Facebook just can't help itself. 

Following news Wednesday morning that an Amtrak train full of Congressional Republicans crashed into a truck, the social media site was soon promoting conspiracy theories and lies purporting to explain the sinister forces behind the tragedy that left one person dead. 

For a company that has publicly and repeatedly been accused of enabling the spread of so-called "fake news," this is just yet another major misstep in a long line of missteps

First spotted by The Daily Beast's Ben Collins, Facebook's screw up du jour involved the "People Are Saying" section of Trending Topics. The phrase "Charlottesville, Virginia," which is near where the train wreck occurred, was trending, and clicking through brought a Facebook user to a page with information about the incident.  Read more...
