Nokia 9 and its five rear cameras appear in new video leak

It appears that Nokia really is making a phone with five rear cameras.

The Nokia 9 PureView, as it's allegedly called, got leaked twice on Monday: as a promotional video, courtesy of MySmartPrice, and as a still (possibly from the same video), posted by reliable leaker of all things mobile, @evleaks.

Save over £130 and eat healthier this year with the Philips Avance Collection AirFryer

It's time to put away the chocolate, the leftover takeaways, and the moreish biscuits. OK maybe not the biscuits. It might be 2019 but let's not go completely wild with New Year resolutions.

What we are saying is that now is the perfect time to reinstate a few healthy habits. Everything in moderation, so put the chocolates away but don't forget where you put them.

One effective way of improving your diet is to use an air fyer. You can fry, bake, roast, and grill without the need for oil. An air fryer will also drain any excess fat from the cooked food meaning you can create all your favourite recipes but in a much healthier manner. Read more...

Relive the golden age of gaming and save 44% with the PlayStation Classic console

Some of the new games released this year truly pushed the boundaries of what we can expect from the gaming industry. Mind-blowing graphics, intense gameplay, and stunning soundtracks seem to be becoming the norm.

It's a great time to be a gamer, but sometimes you just need a quick hit of nostalgia. Sony has now released the PlayStation Classic console preloaded with 20 of the best PlayStation games, including Final Fantasy VII, Grand Theft Auto, Resident Evil, Tekken 3 and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six.

This new release is a miniature recreation of the original PlayStation console and includes a HDMI cable to connect directly to a TV and two wired controllers meaning you can settle old scores with your friends. The PlayStation Classic console also features a built-in virtual memory card, so you can save your adventures as you switch between your old favourites. Read more...

Chromebooks to become a little safer from hackers with 'USB Guard' feature

Leaving your Chromebook unattended in a public place will get a little less dangerous soon.

A new Chrome OS feature, noticed recently by ZDNet, will block access to the USB port while the Chromebook's screen is locked.

SEE ALSO: Why every super paranoid internet user needs a cheap Chromebook

This will make it harder for someone to install malware by gaining physical access to a locked Chromebook as the system will automatically reject any USB drives, including malicious ones.

Known as a "Rubber Ducky" attack and often seen on TV (for example, it's prominently used in the final season of Netflix's 'House of Cards'), this type of attack involves connecting a USB drive, which contains self-installing malware, onto a computer to gain unauthorized access.  Read more...

Want to finish that screenplay? This writing tool for screenwriters is on sale for 77% off.

They say a craftsman is only as good as their tools. In that case, then a screenwriter is only as good as their screenwriting program.

For Jim Uhls (writer of Fight Club) and Christopher Ford (writer of Spiderman: Homecoming), it's called WriterDuet.

A simple and intuitive screenwriting software, it has all the bells and whistles you would expect from a powerful writing tool but without the over-complexity. And right now, you can get it at the Mashable Shop for only $99.99.

However, we're throwing in an additional 19% discount because we believe in your dream of writing the next great screenplay that will give Aaron Sorkin a run for his money. Just be sure to include the code NEWYEAR2019 at checkout to drop the price to just $80.19. Read more...
