Xiaomi plans to bring under-screen cameras to its smartphones next year

Xiaomi certainly isn’t the first to offer a clever technological solution to the problem — and it’s also certainly not the only company to have show off under-screen camera tech — but next year, it’s committed to bringing that technology to market. The manufacturer noted its plans today as part of its earnings report, stating that it will begin manufacturing handsets using the latest version of the technology it’s been working on for a number of years now. Among them seems to be the issue of pixel density.

Facebook says Apple blocked message noting 30 percent App Store fee

Apple wouldn’t allow Facebook to tell its users that the tech giant is getting a cut from the sales of paid online events, the social network told Reuters. Earlier this month, Facebook launched a new feature that gives businesses and creators a way to charge for the online events they host on the platform. Facebook said it also asked Apple to reduce its 30 percent App Store tax or to at least allow it to use Facebook Pay to collect users’ payments directly.
