Factory uses fungus to grow clothes and shape furniture

A few companies in the U.S. are experimenting with using micro-organisms to grow clothes and shape furniture. In New York, a factory is using fungi found in mushrooms to make furniture, and in North Carolina, a startup is making bricks stronger using bacteria found in corals.  Read more...
