Hundreds of new emoji are now available for Mac

Hundreds of new emoji are finally starting to make their way into the world.

Apple dropped the latest public beta of macOS High Sierra and the update comes with hundreds of new emoji, including animals, dinosaurs, and a bunch of smileys.

The update, which is officially called macOS High Sierra 10.13.1, is available now to those who are part of Apple's public or developer beta program. 

As we've previously detailed, the emoji update is extensive. It includes six new "face" emoji, a ton of fantasy characters (vampires, and fairies, and mermaids, and the like), new foods (sandwiches and coconuts!), and dinosaurs. It also includes the breastfeeding mother character and woman with headscarf emoji that was first proposed by a 15-year-old girl from Saudi Arabia.  Read more...
