Your next iPhone may not come with earbuds or a charger

You might have to spend a little bit more than usual for the iPhone 12.

Analysts at the British bank Barclays are predicting that when the Apple iPhone 12 is released later this year, Apple will not include many of the now-customary in-box accessories — namely, a pair of earbuds and a power adapter. 

So, what does this mean? If Barclays analysts are correct, a brand new iPhone 12 will only come with a USB-C to Lightning cable in the box. 

If you’ve been a longtime iPhone user, you probably have a spare power adapter somewhere in your home. If not, you’d need to fork out at least an extra $19 to $29 bucks on top of the cost of the iPhone 12.
