Apple's $699 Mac Pro wheels too pricey? These are much cheaper.

When Apple launched its Mac Pro in December 2019, it induced a collective gasp by pricing the optional wheels at $400. Then it induced another, bigger gasp by pricing them at $699 if you buy them separately. 

Now, OWC has introduced a significantly cheaper solution: the Rover Pro wheels, which are fully compatible with the Mac Pro and cost $199 (a temporary discount, down from $249.99). Honestly, normally that price would've induced a gasp from us as well, but we're all out of gasps, and Apple's wheels are so incredibly pricy that two hundred bucks for a set of wheels actually sounds like a bargain.  Read more...
