This may be Flipkart's plan to get back into grocery business

Flipkart's logistics arm Ekart is experimenting with hyper-local deliveries, those that are typically done within an hour, to expand its offerings to third party users. Ekart head Saikiran Krishnamurthy said the company has partnered with about half a dozen companies to execute their hyper-local deliveries, including food deliveries. He did not divulge further details as the company is yet to scale up the programme. ​
