Amazon is officially ready to push aside your classic alarm clock with with Echo Spot.
The round, roughly 5-inch device sits on a desktop with an angled 2.5-screen and defaults to showing a clock. Amazon unveiled it along with a host of new Echo devices on Wednesday at it Seattle headquarters.
It has virtually all the functionality of an Echo Show. "Anywhere the Echo Show shines, Spot does, too," said Amazon executive Dave Limp.
Amazon Echo Spot includes Bluetooth connectivity for connecting to your favorite stereo and a new 4-microphone far-field array to listen to all your commands.
