The theory behind a flash sale is that the deals can't stick around for too long, because they are just that good. The prices are so impressive that they aren't sustainable for the retailer, so why launch a flash sale in the first place?
The thinking is that sale will cause such a frenzy that absolutely loads of products will be sold in a short space of time, and then back to normality. Well, we have officially been caught up in the frenzy surrounding Dell's 72-hour flash sale. We're not to blame for this, because the prices really are impressive.
