Instant Brands is coming for your Keurig's metaphorical neck: The people behind the beloved Instant Pot have translated the convenience and versatility of that multicooker to the caffeine arena in the form of a new coffee and espresso maker called the Instant Pod. 

Released at the beginning of fall 2020, the compact, 2-in-1 machine works with both K-Cup and Nespresso capsules in addition to reusable pods — the Earth isn't going to save itself, after all — so you don't need separate appliances for different kinds of drinks, nor are you limited to a single manufacturer's coffee flavors and blends. It also offers a choice of six different cup sizes, from a lone 2-ounce shot of espresso to a 12-ounce mug of java, and a huge 2-liter water reservoir means it can go a while without needing to be refilled.
