Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has always been at the forefront when it comes to charging technology, and the company is proving it once again with a new smartphone that charges completely wirelessly.
The charging tech is not without limitations. The Oppo X 2021 smartphone, presented during the Mobile World Congress Shanghai, which kicked off on Tuesday, can charge up to 10 centimetres away from a charging mat. This is achieved with magnetic resonance tech which can deliver up to 7.5W of power to the device. No cable or charging stand is required, Oppo says.
At #MWC21 this year we're showcasing the next evolution in charging ⚡
