Apple will commemorate Pride month 2021 with the launch of a new set of Pride-themed Apple Watch bands and watch faces.
The company introduced Apple Watch Pride Edition in 2016 and has been growing its series of Pride-inspired statement bands and watch faces over the years. Ahead of Pride month in June, Apple is releasing a new Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop, which features all of the classic rainbow colors found in a Pride flag alongside colors from various other flags representing the LBGTQ community.
"Black and brown symbolize Black and Latinx communities, in addition to those who have passed away from or are living with HIV/AIDS, while light blue, pink, and white represent transgender and nonbinary individuals," the company explained in a press release.
