The best tech of 2016

As always, a crazy amount — and we really mean a ton — of devices landed on our desks this year.

Looking back, there weren't many unexpected surprises, which is kind of a bummer. In a way, most of the gadgets of 2016 were kind of boring.

But not boring in the sense that they were all lame. Quite the opposite, actually. As we learned, most of the best products were "boring" in that they were mature for their product categories and pushed form and function to the extreme.
