Here are the first photographer-shot iPhone 8 pictures

It's barely past the morning of the Apple iPhone 8 launch, and pro photographers have already posted some sweet shots taken with the new handset.

As it's done with the iPhones before this, Apple has continually tweaked and improved its cameras.

The iPhone 8 and larger 8 Plus lenses are the same as their predecessors, the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, respectively. But it's put the upgrade in a new A11 Bionic image processor — an improvement over the iPhone 7's A10 Fusion.

With the A11, the phones are touted to find focus more quickly, and are able to record video at higher quality; they're now able to do 4K video at 60 fps, and slow-motion mode doubles the frame rate to 240 fps at 1080p. Read more...
