Apple's next iPhones might be bigger and cheaper

Apple plans to launch two 6.1-inch iPhones, one of which will be a dual-SIM phone, a first for Apple. 

This is according to reliable leaker of all things Apple, Ming-Chi Kuo (via MacRumors), who says the dual-SIM, 6.1-inch variant of the phone could be priced at $650 to $750, while the single SIM model will cost $550 to $650.

These two phones will have a cheaper, LCD screen, in contrast to the iPhone X which has an OLED screen.

Although Kuo's track record is excellent, I would be surprised if Apple priced a dual-SIM model a hundred bucks more than an otherwise identical single SIM model. Dual-SIM phones are popular in developing markets, including countries in Africa, South America and parts of Asia and aren't typically more expensive than their single SIM counterparts.  Read more...
