LG G8S ThinQ is coming this month with triple camera and top processor

LG is finally ready to launch its G8S ThinQ smartphone, an ever-so-slightly less powerful variant of its G8 flagship. The company said the G8S is going to be available this month in "select markets" in Europe, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East, among others. 

Looking at the new phone's specs, you'd be hard pressed to position it as anything less than a flagship. It's got a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, a triple, 13/12/12-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel camera combined with a time-of-flight sensor, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, a 3,550mAh battery and Android 9.0 Pie. 

Yes, the 6.2-inch OLED screen has a slightly lower resolution than the G8's 6.1-inch screen (2,248x1,080 vs. 3,120x1,440 pixels), but it makes up for it with the extra camera (the G8 only has two, though one of them has a 16-megapixel sensor).  Read more...
