HP has an interesting solution for that problem. The company's new Mindframe headset has an active cooling solution that keeps your ears cool.
According to HP, there's a "thermoelectric device inside the earcup that conducts heat from the acoustic chamber towards the outside." This can be controlled through the Omen Command Center software, so you ideally shouldn't worry about your ears getting too frosty. Read more...
