Michaels recalls thousands of those relaxing rock salt lamps

Those trendy, relaxing Himalayan Rock Salt lamps everyone's been buzzing about might not be as safe as you think.

On Tuesday, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a recall on about 80,000 lamps, which are believed to have health benefits and improve your mood, due to potential shock and fire hazard risks.

The recall includes three types of Lumière brand rock salt lamps — the Rock of Gibraltar Lamp, the Carnival of Lights Lamp and the Basket of Rocks Lamp — that were sold at Michaels craft stores from July 2016 to November 2016. Read more...
