John Oliver details all the ways Samsung products will probably ruin your life

South Korean manufacturer Samsung makes a wide assortment of electronics: TVs, washing machines and cellphones are just a few. Unfortunately for their customers, as John Oliver was quick to point out on Sunday night's episode of Last Week Tonight, those products have all run into a bit of, well, trouble.

Everyone knows about the exploding Galaxy Note7 phones and subsequent recall, but are you aware that Samsung also recalled 2.8 million washing machines due to — get this — explosions? 

Yup, exploding washing machines. 

And that was all before the latest revelation from WikiLeaks alleging that the CIA has turned Samsung smart TVs into covert listening devices.  Read more...
