Twitter has gifted all the women — and all the men — of its service a special emoji in honor of International Women's Day.
Whenever a user tweets with the hashtag #SheInspiresMe, #WomensDay, #InternationalWomensDay, #IWD or #IWD2017, a custom emoji depicting the Venus symbol appears.
It's not just about today. Over the last year, conversation around women's issues have grown on Twitter. In 2016, there were 25 percent more tweets about "feminism" or "women's rights" than in the year prior, according to Twitter.
