PSA: The Super Bowl is officially a 'No Drone Zone'

Hey football fans, if you're heading to Houston’s NRG Stadium this weekend, leave your drones at home.

Yep, you'll have to kiss your dreams of recording and aerial video of Lady Gaga's halftime show goodbye because when the Patriots and Falcons go head to head this Sunday in Super Bowl LI, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) doesn't want your nosy, potentially dangerous drones anywhere near the game.

The FAA released a public service announcement on Wednesday declaring that not only is NRG Stadium a "No Drone Zone" on the day of the big game, but temporary flight restrictions prohibiting drones from flying within a 34.5-mile radius of the stadium will also be put in place. Read more...
