SodaStream recalls some bottles since they might explode in your face

Believe it or not, repeatedly pumping carbon dioxide into a small bottle might just make it go boom. One line of bottles from DIY soft-drink maker SodaStream's has been declared particularly prone to explosions, so the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has issued a recall.

The one-liter bottles in question have a blue tint and base, dishwasher safe labels and an expiration date of April 2020. When pressurized or shaken the bottles might burst and potentially injure bystanders.
