Xiaomi India's Manu Kumar Jain promoted as global VP

Following the departure of its top executive Hugo Barra, the Chinese company Xiaomi is reshuffling some top positions within the company. 

Manu Kumar Jain, who previously assumed the role of India Head at Xiaomi India, has been promoted to the role of Vice President of Xiaomi, a spokesperson for the company said today.

Jain, who joined Xiaomi in 2014, after leaving fashion ecommerce Jabong he co-founded and managed, has been the head of Xiaomi India since the company’s arrival in the country same year. 

Kumar Jain will continue to spearhead Xiaomi’s India operations, the company said. "Manu will continues to spearhead all India operations and be involved with all individual functions within the country such as Sales, After Sales, Customer Support, Manufacturing etc," a spokesperson told Mashable India.  Read more...
